Convert an image to a supported format
Choose JPG, PNG or WebP only when the current browser can safely encode it, and decide how transparency should behave.
Open private workspace
Opens in this tab on the ad-free workspace at tooleni.com. No file detail is added to the link.
When this tool is a good fit
Use this when the image itself is suitable but its current supported file format is not accepted by the place you need to use it.
- Prepare a working copy and keep your original file unchanged.
- Read the limits below before opening the private workspace.
- Review the generated result on your device before sharing or replacing anything.
What you receive
The result is one genuinely re-encoded supported image, with alpha preserved where possible and flattened only by explicit JPG choice.
The workspace is a separate, ad-free page designed for the document task. This information page never receives a selected file and does not run the processor.
How to prepare and finish
- Prepare one supported still image and confirm which destination format the receiving website, app or document actually accepts.
- Open the private workspace, select an available output and choose a fixed background colour when converting transparency to JPG.
- Review colour, edges and transparency in the generated result, then download the fixed local image only when it looks correct.
What stays private
- Image bytes stay in the separate browser workspace and are re-encoded without EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC or comments.
- The selected format, source name, dimensions and pixel contents are not returned to the public site or public analytics.
